PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Strongarm American Welding Co. (“Strongarm,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information when you visit www.strongarmwelding.com, purchase products, use a customer account, submit a wholesale or distributor inquiry, request a quotation, or otherwise communicate with us.

These activities are collectively referred to as our “Services.”

This policy applies to retail customers, business contacts, wholesale and distributor applicants, approved business customers and website visitors.

Our online store is powered by Shopify. Shopify and certain other providers also process personal information under their own privacy policies, as explained below.

This policy provides information about our practices. It does not replace consent where consent is required by applicable law.

  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Contact information

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.

Order and transaction information

When you place an order, we collect information needed to process and fulfill it, including the products, sizes, quantities and pack options selected; order value; delivery details; payment status; transaction references; and records of returns, refunds or exchanges.

Payment information is processed through Shopify and the payment providers used for your transaction. The payment information available to us depends on the payment method and provider.

Customer account information

If you use a customer account, we process information associated with that account, such as your email address, contact details, saved addresses, order history, preferences and relevant sign-in activity.

Our current Shopify customer accounts support passwordless authentication, such as a verification code sent by email. Do not share verification codes or other account-access information with anyone claiming to need them for customer support.

Wholesale and distributor information

If you inquire about or apply for a business account, we may collect your company name, business address, website, role, business contact details, purchasing requirements and information you provide about your sales channels.

Where needed for an approved business relationship, we may also collect resale or tax-exemption documentation, purchase orders, billing instructions, delivery contacts, account permissions and agreed commercial terms.

Custom and made-to-order inquiries

If you request a custom or made-to-order product, we collect the contact information, specifications, quantities, documents and other details you choose to provide so we can evaluate and respond to your request.

Customer support and communications

We collect the information you provide in emails, forms and other communications, including questions, order details, complaints, photographs of product issues and related correspondence.

Reviews and public submissions

If you submit a review or other content for public display, we collect the content and the name or display information associated with that submission.

Device and usage information

We and the providers supporting our Services may collect information about your device and interactions, including your IP address, browser, device type, referring pages, pages and products viewed, cart activity and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Cookies, pixels and similar technologies may be used for these purposes, subject to applicable requirements and your privacy choices.

Please do not send payment-card security codes, account sign-in codes or sensitive personal documents through ordinary email unless an appropriate secure process has been agreed.

  1. WHERE INFORMATION COMES FROM

We obtain personal information:

• Directly from you when you browse, purchase, complete a form, use an account or contact us.
• Automatically through your interactions with the Services.
• From Shopify and providers supporting payments, fraud prevention, fulfillment, shipping, communications and website operations.
• From an authorized representative of your business, such as an account administrator or purchasing contact.
• From platforms or services you choose to use when communicating or transacting with us.

If you provide another person’s information, such as a delivery recipient’s or colleague’s details, you should have an appropriate basis for doing so and make this policy available to them.

  1. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use personal information for the following purposes:

Providing products and services

To process orders and payments, arrange fulfillment and delivery, manage returns and refunds, maintain transaction records and provide customer support.

Managing accounts

To authenticate access, maintain customer profiles, display relevant order information and manage approved business-account permissions.

Responding to business inquiries

To review wholesale and distributor applications, prepare quotations, discuss product requirements and manage approved commercial relationships.

Communicating with you

To respond to questions and send information about orders, deliveries, account access, product issues and other service matters.

Marketing

To send product news, offers and other promotional communications where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary communications about orders, payments, account security or other transactions.

Analytics and improvement

To understand how customers use the Services, identify problems, improve navigation and product information, and evaluate the effectiveness of our communications and advertising.

Security and fraud prevention

To help detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraudulent transactions, misuse and other harmful activity.

Legal and administrative purposes

To maintain business records, comply with applicable obligations, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

  1. SHOPIFY’S ROLE

Shopify hosts our online store and processes information to operate the store, checkout, customer accounts and related services.

Depending on the features enabled for our store and the Shopify services you use, Shopify may also process information for fraud prevention, analytics, personalization and advertising.

Where Shopify Network Intelligence or related enhanced services are enabled, Shopify may use information about your interactions with our store together with information from your interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide and improve those services.

Information may be processed by Shopify and its service providers in countries other than the country where you live.

Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy explains its relevant processing and your choices:

https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers

You can also access Shopify’s privacy portal:

https://privacy.shopify.com/en

Requests about information we control can be sent to support@strongarmwelding.com. Requests concerning Shopify’s independent processing may need to be submitted directly to Shopify.

  1. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies and similar technologies help operate the Services, remember preferences, maintain cart and account functionality, protect against fraud and understand website activity.

Depending on the tools enabled, these technologies may also support personalization, advertising and measurement.

You can use your browser settings to block or remove certain cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working correctly.

Where cookie or privacy-preference controls are available on the website, you can use them to manage the choices offered. Where applicable law requires consent for particular technologies or processing, your applicable consent and withdrawal rights remain in effect.

Browser settings alone may not prevent every disclosure of information. You may also contact support@strongarmwelding.com to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Information about Shopify’s use of cookies is available here:

  1. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We disclose information as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to the following categories of recipients.

Service providers

Shopify and providers supporting payment processing, fraud prevention, hosting, communications, customer support, analytics, accounting, fulfillment and shipping.

These disclosures may include contact details, transaction information and relevant device or usage information, depending on the service being provided.

Business-account users

If you use a company account, authorized users within your organization may have access to relevant company, location, order or contact information according to their account permissions.

Order and production partners

Where needed to evaluate or fulfill a custom or made-to-order request, relevant order details and specifications may be shared with providers involved in producing or supplying the requested goods.

Marketing and advertising providers

Where the relevant services are used, information such as identifiers, purchase or shopping activity and website usage may be disclosed for advertising, personalization or measurement, subject to applicable law and privacy choices.

Disclosures you request

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, such as when arranging delivery to another person or using a third-party integration.

Legal and business purposes

We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or resolve a dispute.

Information may also be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, sale, restructuring or other business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

  1. ADVERTISING, SALE OR SHARING, AND PRIVACY CHOICES

Certain disclosures of identifiers, commercial information or online activity to advertising partners or through enabled Shopify advertising services may be considered a “sale,” “sharing” or processing for “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged.

Where applicable, you may opt out of these activities by contacting:

support@strongarmwelding.com

Please state that you are making a privacy opt-out request and identify the email address associated with your interactions with us.

You may also use any applicable privacy-choice controls provided on our website. Shopify offers separate choices concerning its own processing through:

https://privacy.shopify.com/en

Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, that signal must be given effect for the processing and browser or device to which it applies.

Opting out of targeted advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising. You may still see general advertisements or receive necessary transaction communications.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to:

• Know whether we process your personal information and receive information about that processing.
• Access personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
• Receive a portable copy of certain information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
• Opt out of applicable sales, sharing or targeted advertising.
• Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where that right applies.
• Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable law provides that right.

These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. For example, we may need to retain certain transaction records for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

To submit a request, email support@strongarmwelding.com or call 678-691-2332.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We will not require more verification than applicable law permits.

Where allowed, you may appoint an authorized agent. We may need evidence of the agent’s authority and appropriate verification of your identity.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason and any applicable appeal options.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

  1. INFORMATION FOR EUROPEAN AND UK USERS

Where European or UK data-protection laws apply, we process personal information using an appropriate legal basis, depending on the activity.

These bases may include:

• Performing a contract or taking steps you request before entering into a contract, such as processing an order or preparing a quotation.
• Complying with legal obligations.
• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our business, communicating with customers and preventing fraud, balanced against your rights.
• Your consent where required, including for relevant marketing or non-essential tracking.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing undertaken before consent was withdrawn.

You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

  1. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

We are based in the United States. Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where Shopify and our service providers operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your country.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the relevant transfer must be supported by a lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.

Shopify’s privacy information describes safeguards relevant to its processing. Contact support@strongarmwelding.com if you would like information about transfers for which we are responsible.

  1. RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of applicable legal requirements.

The retention period depends on factors such as:

• Whether we are fulfilling an order or maintaining an active account or business relationship.
• Whether records are needed for returns, product issues or customer support.
• Accounting, tax and other legal recordkeeping requirements.
• Fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements.
• Your privacy requests and any legal exceptions that apply.

We may retain a limited record of a marketing opt-out or privacy request so we can continue to honor it.

  1. SECURITY

We use reasonable measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

No website, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Please protect access to your email account and customer account, and do not share sign-in verification codes. Contact us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your Strongarm account without authorization.

  1. PUBLIC REVIEWS, RETAIL PARTNERS AND OTHER WEBSITES

Reviews or other content you submit for public display may be visible to other visitors. Avoid including private contact details or sensitive information in a public submission.

Our website links to retail partners, marketplaces, social platforms and other independently operated services. Their privacy policies govern information you provide directly to them.

If you purchase through a retailer or marketplace, that seller controls information collected through its checkout. If information is subsequently provided to us to fulfill an order or address a product issue, we handle that information as described in this policy and as otherwise required by law.

A link to another website does not make its privacy practices part of our own.

  1. CHILDREN’S INFORMATION

Our Services are intended for adults purchasing products for personal or business use and are not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law or knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@strongarmwelding.com so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

  1. COMPLAINTS AND QUESTIONS

If you have a concern about how we handle personal information, contact us using the details below.

If you disagree with a response to a privacy request, you may reply and ask us to review it. Where applicable law provides a formal appeal right, we will handle the appeal in accordance with that law.

You may also have the right to complain to a relevant privacy or data-protection regulator.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices or legal obligations.

The revised policy will be posted on our website with an updated date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.

A policy update does not remove rights that apply to information already collected.
